Welcome to one of the most exciting sporting events of this year: The FIS Snowboard, Freestyle and Freeski World Championships St. Moritz Engadin 2025 – FIS Freestyle World Championships for short – from 17 to 30 March 2025!

Over 1,500 of the world's best athletes from 40 nations will compete in 17 disciplines and compete for 90 medals. There are stars not only at the competitions, but also on the concert stage. Renowned musicians such as Stress, Sido, SDP, FiNCH, Milky Chance, Mando Diao, Royal Republic and Bennett – to name just a few of the acts and DJs – will create an exuberant festival atmosphere. Goosebumps are pre-programmed!

The competitions of the FIS Freestyle World Championships with an extensive supporting programme will take place on three event sites. The corresponding ticket offer is listed below. If the ticket is not displayed in the online shop, it is currently sold out.

Olympic Ski Jump
The Big Air discipline takes place in the Festival Village in the Olympic Ski Jump near Islas in St. Moritz. Instead of the demolished Olympic ski jump, the huge Big Air temporarily towers royally in its place.

Corvatsch
At the Murtèl middle station on the Corvatsch, the adrenaline-charged halfpipe and slopestyle competitions are held. Various food stalls are available to visitors on site.

Corviglia
The disciplines of snowboard and ski cross, mogul, aerials and snowboard alpine will be held along the Salastrains chairlift. For the fans at the edge of the slope and in the finish areas, the attractive and athletically challenging competition areas are excellently visible. Visitors will be offered various food stalls on site.

Journey
Travel with peace of mind by public transport, as on-site parking is limited! Attractive public transport special offers are available to you:

- Free travel in the canton of Graubünden & shuttle buses: Your return journey within the canton of Graubünden is included in the event ticket on the same day of the event. This also applies to the extraordinary FIS Freestyle World Championships shuttle buses between St. Moritz train station and the event sites.
- 20% discount on public transport throughout Switzerland: On your journey to and from Switzerland, you benefit from a 20% discount on your public transport ticket. The SBB offer is only valid with a valid event ticket on the day of the event as well as on the day before and the day after.
-Tip: For the outward and return journey on the day of the valid event ticket, one ticket is sufficient to the cantonal border of Graubünden (e.g. Sargans, Landquart or Chur). From then on, free travel to the FIS Freestyle World Championships is valid with an event ticket valid on that day.

Stay in the Engadine
You can find information about partner hotels on the event website. Otherwise, the tourist information offices are available for information on hotels and holiday apartments.

On the slopes, get set, go!
On the Corviglia and on the Corvatsch, all slopes are open with the exception of the areas closed off for the competitions. So you can also have wonderful fun in the winter sports area yourself at the FIS Freestyle World Championships! Either you buy your ski ticket together with the event ticket or separately from the mountain railways.

All competitions and the festival area are outdoors. Due to the topographical conditions and weather conditions, it is unfortunately not possible to guarantee comprehensive accessibility. Outdoor event
The FIS Freestyle World Championships is a winter outdoor sports event in the mountains. It is advisable to check the weather and temperatures at short notice and to bring warm and weatherproof clothing as well as footwear that is suitable for snow.

The 7 competition areas and 17 disciplines briefly explained

BIG AIR
Big Air is the ultimate challenge for adrenaline junkies. The snowboard and freeski athletes catapult themselves over a huge ski jump and perform impressive tricks and turns in the air. Not only the difficulty of the maneuvers counts, but also the precision and style. The clean landing plays a decisive role.

SLOPESTYLE
The snowboard and freeski athletes overcome a slopestyle course with rails, boxes and big jumps, which resembles a skate park on snow, but with an inclination. They impress the audience with tricks, turns and so-called grabs with plenty of room for individuality and personal style. Slopestyle offers the ultimate combination of creativity, technique and courage – the perfect show! Each run is judged according to difficulty, execution and style.

HALFPIPE
The halfpipe is one of the most iconic disciplines in the sport of freestyle. In the impressively large U-shaped tube, snowboard and freeski athletes jump over the edge and perform tricks at breathtaking heights with twists and grabs before landing back in the pipe to start the next jump after the change of sides. Each run is judged according to height, difficulty and execution of the tricks as well as the overall presentation.

CROSS
In a thrilling head-to-head race, 4 athletes compete against each other on a slope peppered with sharp turns, waves and jumps. They show their technical skills and their reaction skills. Speed, tactics and courage are crucial as athletes fight for positions and perform spectacular overtaking maneuvers.
