The Fribourg pianist Florian Favre presents his trio with secular, pop-loaded, sensitive and eruptive jazz, a partly complex but extremely vital music. Surprising twists and rhythmic sensitivity characterize the interplay with the Genevan bassist Manu Hagmann and the drummer Arthur Alard from Paris. A sound that knows space and tranquility, but also physical force, bizarre suddenness and dramatic interaction.
