Freeride Workshop Basis

Participants learn the theoretical basics of avalanche awareness and practical preparations so that they can then better assess the dangers in open terrain. They also learn how to use avalanche transceivers, probes and shovels and are familiar with the rescue procedure in an emergency. Prerequisites The course is aimed at snow sports enthusiasts who want to gain their first experience away from the secured pistes and who can handle their snow sports equipment in all conditions.
