The works of the ceramist Helga Ritsch, which fit very well into the Aux Losanges, its ambience and history, are certainly a complementary and enriching positioning for the place to the past projects. Her works are food for thought and boundary crossings that reinterpret the ceramic craft. From 2001 to 2006 Helga Ritsch trained as a ceramist with master ceramicist Mathies Schwarze (School of Ceramics in Oeschgen), from 1989 to 1995 at the University of Zurich: Studied Art History/German Linguistics and Literature/Philosophy (MA), 1987-1989 ETH Zurich: Architecture Department (BA). She has been working as an independent artist since 1998. She is a member of the Swiss Ceramics Association "swissceramics" and runs her studio in Soazza (Misox GR). Helga Ritsch forms ceramics that go beyond the minimalist and modern, and she does not define the function of her vessels as a matter of principle. Each piece is given a different character.
The exhibition is curated by Luciano Fasciati.
