III. Organ Vespers for Advent

The idea of organ vespers in Advent follows an old tradition. In tradition, the word Vespers (lat. vesperae = evening) refers to the musically richly designed evening Liturgy of the Hours. This developed into the concept of organ vespers in Advent.

A mixture of organ music from old and new times, an Advent song in the center and matching lyrics are planned.
The start is always on the Wednesday after the Advent Sundays at 6.15 p.m. after the evening bell in the church of St. Johann in Davos Platz.
