Event Arosa Lenzerheide
Konzertflügeleinweihung der Hans-Schaeuble-Stiftung
Description
Soprano Muriel Schwarz and pianist Andrea Wiesli have been performing as a song duo for many years throughout Switzerland and Germany. Their joint CD "Zürich klingt" featuring premiere recordings of Swiss composers from the 19th and 20th centuries on Guild Music received enthusiastic reviews. More information about the Kulturwinter program at www.arosakultur.ch/ The two award-winning musicians from eastern Switzerland will inaugurate the Bechstein grand piano, a permanent loan from the Hans Schaeuble Foundation, with romantic songs by Franz Schubert, Hugo Wolf, Othmar Schoeck and Hans Schaeuble. Andrea Wiesli will also pay a pianistic tribute to the composer Schaeuble, who was born in Arosa, with his joyful and playful piano variations on Paul Burkhard's "Schwarzer Hecht."
