La Compagnia Rossini: Musical "Plaun Salter" in Danis

In 2022, "La Compagnia Rossini" performed the Rhaemordi musical "Frisal-Frisal" written by Armin Caduff in Danis-Tavanasa. The great success of these performances and the passion for music motivated the composer to compose a new work. Together with his ensemble of soloists, other local musicians and cultural workers, an ad hoc choir and a children's choir from the region, the new work will be premiered in autumn 2025.


Plaun Salter - the musical
In the village of Laradira, the Plaun Salter plain is for sale. It is widely known that this place hides its treasures, but also its secrets.
On the one hand, it is said that there are valuable crystals in the many stones of Plaun Salter. This attracts potential buyers from near and far to the village of Laradira.
Some locals see the chance that the village can get a lot of money quickly and easily, but others don't want to sell their home to any strangers.

On the other hand, the story is told that in the forest near Plaun Salter a hermit lives with his wild dogs in a cave, he has magical powers and would protect Plaun Salter with all his magical power.
Turbulence, disputes and misunderstandings are inevitable.
This story resulted in a musical work, composed like an opera, with jazzy sounds and swinging rhythms, which provide the best entertainment.
