The new documentary shows two locations that could hardly be further apart: 18,000 kilometers as the crow flies lie between the Andean province of Espinar and the rainforest on the Southeast Asian island of Borneo. But the indigenous communities of both regions are united by their fight against a gigantic mine controlled from Switzerland.

Displacement, destruction and pollution are omnipresent. People are fighting against the destruction of their livelihoods and for their land and their health. Their strength lies in the community, which, however, comes under pressure from false promises and perfidious tactics of the corporations. But giving up is not an option.
