The mysterious Lake Walen, surrounded by majestic mountain peaks, fascinates and frightens in equal measure.

In 1861, the famous fairy tale researcher Professor Jacob Grimm sets out in search of a new fairy tale. In Murg, on the shores of Lake Walen, he meets Anna von Quinten, a mysterious woman familiar with local legends. Together they discover stories of love, greed and mysterious creatures that are said to live in the depths of the lake. Jacob is attracted by Anna's fascination with the mysteries of Lake Walen, but their relationship is threatened by ominous forebodings and the forces of nature...

In the open air, surrounded by the majestic Churfirsten mountains and the glittering waters of Lake Walen, a spectacle unfolds that combines all the elements of theatre: touching music, enchanting choreographies, breathtaking natural scenery and acting at the highest level.

Even the journey promises a special experience: the audience reaches the lake stage in Murg with a picturesque ride across Lake Walen. This summer event will not only enrich the region, but also inspire theater lovers from near and far.

To round off the evening perfectly, there is the possibility to book the "Monstrous Tavolata" in the Sagibeiz after booking the ticket (boat shuttle from Unterterzen at 5.30 p.m. / CHF 79.- per person incl. drinks):
