At the "Researchers Beer" in the foyer of the Kulturplatz Davos on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m., scientists and those thirsty for knowledge meet to exchange ideas and get to know each other.

Special Guest: The Academia Raetica welcomes PD Dr. David Niederseer as a "Special Guest". Since the summer of 2023, the sports cardiologist and researcher has been driving the expansion of cardiovascular research and sports cardiology at the Hochgebirgsklinik Davos. Sport and exercise are a central aspect of cardiac rehabilitation. But athletes also need a competent contact person for heart complaints or diseases - this is where sports cardiology helps. For all performance and age groups, for healthy people as well as for people with heart disease, the Hochgebirgsklinik wants to offer a comprehensive range of 'Sport and Heart' in the sports city of Davos. The cardiology team at the Hochgebirgsklinik Davos, led by Jan Vontobel, not only aims to set new standards in clinical care, but also to further strengthen research in this area. The scientific team is planning several ambitious projects, which David Niederseer will report on at Researchers Beer.
