Seniority Project in the Calanca Valley

Seniority understood as a positive and important phase of life for the future of all generations is an issue that the Municipalities of the Calanca Valley intend to address by joining the Seniority in the Calanca Valley project promoted by the Social Development Engineering Laboratory with the support of Swiss Health Promotion, the Paul Schiller Foundation, the Municipalities of the Valley and the Canton of Graubünden.

In order to inform the entire population, five evenings of meetings will be organized during which topics such as: the meaning of well-being of the elderly person, the problems of peripheral areas, the advent of digital technology, the birth of a new figure of volunteer and new forms of communication will be explored.

The meetings will take place in all five municipalities of the Valley. Those who are unable to participate in the evening in their municipality will have the opportunity to participate in one of the other evenings.

The information evenings will take place on the following dates:
-Thursday 23 January 2025, 8.00 pm, municipal hall ex Pretorio, Arvigo
-Wednesday 29 January 2025, 8.00 pm, town hall, Santa Maria
-Thursday 6 February 2025, 8.00 pm, in the civil protection premises, Red
-Wednesday 19 February 2025, 8.00 pm, in the civil protection premises, Buseno
-Monday 24 February 2025, 8.00 pm, Sala del Patriziato, Castaneda
