Stage program "Valsecchi&Nater - Rose Wedding"

The two music cabaret artists Diego Valsecchi and Pascal Nater have become an integral part of Swiss cabaret stages. In September, they have been on stage together for ten years. In their anniversary programme "Rose Wedding", they take stock and show their best dialect chansons.

There are cabaret artists. There are musicians. And there are satirists and word artists. Valsecchi & Nater are a unique combination of everything. Their dialect chansons are precisely written, musically surprising and interpreted with crystal clarity. Over the past ten years, they have developed an unmistakable style and have gained an enthusiastic audience throughout German-speaking Switzerland.

In their lovingly ironic songs, they sing self-critically about the toxic love of capitalism, the Swiss penchant for multi-purpose rooms or the long effect of first kisses. With their anniversary program, they give themselves and their audience a gift and talk about the highlights and catastrophes they lived through in their stage relationship.

They have shown their past four stage programmes in countless guest theatres and cultural cellars in German-speaking Switzerland. They have played at important festivals such as the Olten Cabaret Days or the Lucerne Cabaret Weeks, have made guest appearances at the Casinotheater in Winterthur or the Stadttheater in Bern and have been played again and again on Swiss Radio SRF. The Aargau Cultural Foundation "Pro Argovia" has also chosen the two as "Pro Argovia Artists 2022" and is supporting their tour.
