Viva la Via - Winteredition

The Via Maistra in Pontresina is also a great place to stroll in your winter coat! Music, local delicacies, warm drinks and a warming fire provide the perfect atmosphere and entertainment.

Prior to this year's "Viva la Via Glacier Edition", the Diavolezza and the whole valley will be celebrating the great revival of an old tradition on Saturday, March 15, 2025. The traditional "Diavolezza Glacier Race" will be held on the glacier run.

To mark the occasion, an auction in aid of glacier protection will be held following the award ceremony, which will take place at 4:30 p.m. as part of the Viva la Via Glacier Edition. Special items will go under the hammer, including unique works of art by Severin Niggli, created from items found during the most recent "Glacier Clean-Up Day". The proceeds will go to various glacier care projects.

The colorful promenade program on the Plazza Bellavita starts at 3 pm. A fine gastronomic offer, various local exhibitors, award ceremony, charity auction and a musical highlight invite you to linger on the Plazza Bellavita.
