The alp is located above Guarda at 2016 m above sea level.

Description

The alp can be reached from Guarda in about 2 hours. From Ardez you can reach the alp via Alp Sura in about 2.5 hours. In summer, goats are housed on the Suot Alp, cheese is produced and there is a small "alp kiosk" for hikers. From the alp you can continue hiking for about 2 hours into the Val Tuoi to the Tuoi hut.

  • With the Rhaetian Railway (from Chur, Prättigau or Oberengadin) hourly to Guarda, then continue by post bus to Guarda, cumün

Directions

  • From the north: via Landquart - Klosters by car transport through the Vereina Tunnel (Selfranga - Sagliains) or via the Flüela Pass into the Lower Engadine on H27.
  • From the east: via Landeck / Austria in the direction of St. Moritz on H27
  • From the south: via Reschenpass (Nauders-Martina) or Ofenpass (Val Müstair-Zernez) on H27
