Berghaus Stafelalp

The cheerful hosts "Maik and Cati" are looking forward to a wonderful time with you. Enjoy the cosy atmosphere in the Berghaus StafelAlp.

StafelAlp was founded about 500 years ago by Walser people. The house is about 250 years old and was established in 1936 as an inn. As in the past, cooking is still done on a wooden stove. The modernization was nevertheless partly introduced. Solar cells generate the elctricity for the light in the sanitary cacilities and the night camps. The light in the dining room is still produced with petroleum lamps and thus contributes to the charm of the house.

For parking there is the parking lot "Mälcheren" (approx. 30 min to the alp) and the parking lot vis à vis from the horse stable entrance Frauenkirch (approx. 1 hour 15 min to the alp).

The Berghaus is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located at 1894 metres above sea level in Davos Frauenkirch.

For dinner or special occasions we are also available at other times by appointment.
