Enjoy the peace and quiet in one of the typical Engadine villages and let yourself be conquered by the unique natural and cultural landscape. Surrounded by sgrafitto-decorated houses, the Swiss National Park and a ski and swimming offer that is second to none, you will be greeted by the locals with a friendly Allegra on the street. Ftan is located on a sun-drenched plateau, away from the hustle and bustle. On the opposite side of the valley, behind Tarasp Castle, the Lower Engadine Dolomites rise dominantly and embed the village in the alpine picture-book landscape. The 400-year-old Alpine Mill Ftan tells of the once rich grain culture.
