The mountain hut is located 1940 m above sea level on the Bavugls mountain pasture above Pignia. Bavugls can be reached from May-November (depending on weather conditions) in 20 minutes by car via the single-lane dirt road. In winter, the hut can be reached on foot in 2 1/2 hours (in consultation with the landlord there is the possibility to reach the hut by quad and chauffeur, driving time 1/2 hour). From Bavugls, enjoy the beautiful mountain landscape around our two local mountains, Piz la Tschera and Piz Curver, on which the easy to medium hike is worthwhile.
