The Ringelspitz hut lies at 2,000 metres above sea level, on a beautiful spot above the Kunkels Pass in Tamins. The hut serves as starting point for lots of different activities, from mountaineering to hiking, cycling, ski touring or climbing in the Calanda range.

Description

The cottage built in 1961 is located on the southern slope of the Ringelspitz massif at 2000m, above the Kunkels Pass. Situated in the heart of the Tectonic Arena Sardona, it is the ideal starting point for hiking, biking, and alpine tours in the unique mountain landscape of the UNESCO World Heritage site. The Ringelspitz cottage has 38 beds and is catered from early summer to late autumn. The rest of the time a winter room with cooking facilities that can accommodate 12 people is available.

Opening hours

The Ringelspitz hut is catered throughout the summer season. During autumn and spring on weekends or on request. During winter only on request. Please consult with the lodge keeper whether the lodge is catered.
