Spitzmeilenhütte SAC

Our hut, newly built in 2007 by the SAC section Piz Sol, on the same site as the old hut from 1903. The very well-insulated timber element building can withstand heavy storms and offers around 50 guests a pleasant place to spend the night. Our own spring provides us with running water all year round and also drives a small turbine. This provides us with the most necessary electricity. Cooking is done with gas and wood. The transport of our food, consumables and waste disposal is carried out with our in-house transport cable car. To our delight, this replaces the helicopter, at least in summer.
