Description
This demanding tour kicks off at the Tourist Office in Lenzerheide. We leave the village heading south and turn towards Obervaz. After about 300m, we turn into Kanalweg and continue comfortably along this towpath. After a short downhill, we tackle our first climb through a larch forest up to Alp God. Here the vast meadow invites us to take our first break and enjoy the views. The next stage will make any biker's heart beat a little faster. Still climbing gently and overlooking the majestic Lenzerhorn, we ride over hill and dale and past herds of grazing cattle. This brings us to Fops Alpine Hut, where we get spoiled with fresh cheese and spicy bacon. After a short downhill, we get down to business. The single trail that we now take is one of a kind, and whoever manages to make it to Alp Nova without putting a foot down has earned the right to call himself a «pro». The subsequent downhill stretch to Alp Lavoz however compensates for any hardships suffered before. Make sure you take time once again to enjoy the view over the valley with its lake, Lenzerhorn and the three peaks of Ela, Mitgel and Tinzenhorn. Alpine rose and juniper bushes line the next stage, which leads us past the television tower to our next alpine hut. From now on, it is downhill all the way! First we head towards Sartons, where the sunny deck of the Sartons Mountain Inn beckons us to enjoy some refreshments while soaking in the rays. From here we cycle along the road until we reach the youth hostel, where we turn right onto a forest road and follow a nature trail down to Heidsee Lake, to end our trip with a cool swim in the lake or a refreshing ice cream at the Lido.

Incidentally: You will pass the Fops alpine hut on this tour, where Danny MacAskill and Claudio Caluori jumped off the terrace in the "Home of Trails" video.
