Arflinafurgga - Durannapass

The Fideriser Heuberge are known for their natural diversity. And you can already feel that after the start of the tour at the Berghaus Arflina. It smells of flowers, of mountain meadows. The forest road leads past the Cluner lakes with a wonderful view of the Rätikon chain in the back. The last meters of altitude to the Arflinafurgga are pushed until the view into the Schanfigg is released. From this point you can either head in the direction of Chur via Peist/St.Peter, or if you want to go to Arosa or back to Prättigau, follow the signpost Pirigen/Langwies. Unfortunately, in both variants, the depth meters with alpine roads are destroyed, because after about one kilometer the single trails end here. From Langwies it goes either on the alpine road or along a mountain stream back to Prättigau, via the pretty hamlet of Strasberg (with refreshments) over the Duranna Pass with the Grüensee, past the Alp Duranna over single trails and forest roads down to Klosters.

If you like to take more time to recharge your batteries, it is best to combine the tour with an overnight stay and spend the end of the evening at the idyllic Cluner lakes and enjoy the biodiversity in the unique moor landscape, which is strongly reminiscent of the Scottish Highlands. With its newly renovated rooms, showers and toilets, the Berghaus Arflina also offers accommodation with a small mountain luxury at 2000 meters above sea level and thus a lot of relaxation and a carefree mountain summer. Bikers staying overnight in the Berghaus can have their bike dresses washed in the in-house lingerie.
