Just 50 minutes on foot from the railway station of Morteratsch, one catches sight of the day’s objective: the glacier’s giant icetongue. From Morteratsch station, follow the signposts to "Vadret da Morteratsch". On the way back, follow the signposts to "Morteratsch", halfway along follow the signposts to "Chünetta" on the left. From Chünetta, follow the signposts to "Morteratsch".
