Description
The ski tour starts in Davos Frauenkirch. First it goes past the church Frauenkirch to NW via Matten and then on the alp trail to Stafelalp. Continue along the wide ridge following the summer path north-west to point 2'363. Now either over the prominent ridge to the Chörbschhornhütte or you bypass it to the east. From the hut, follow the south ridge to the summit.
The descent follows the ascent route. First over the south ridge past the Chörbschhornhütte and then over the long ridge to Stafelalp. From Stafelalp back through the forest to Frauenkirch.
In Frauenkirch there are plenty of free parking spaces at the gravel works (Sertigerstrasse 1), right next to the riding stable in the sand.

Ausrüstung
On the Jakobshorn near the Fuxägufer mountain station in Davos, the correct use of the avalanche transceiver (LVS) can be practised under realistic conditions. The training area consists of a 100 x 100m zone in moderately steep terrain, thus creating a realistic avalanche cone. Use of the training area is free of charge. You must bring your own avalanche transceiver and avalanche probe with you.
