Description

On this easy winter hike, you walk from the Curnius mountain station down to Falera and enjoy the view of the wintry mountain landscape around Falera all the way. You can reach the starting point from Falera by chairlift. There are paid parking spaces on the edge of the village, but getting there by public transport is also easy thanks to the PostBus and the Flims Laax Falera Shuttle.

Before you make your way back down to the valley, we recommend stopping off at the Tegia Curnius. Here you can enjoy the finest Grisons specialties such as maluns, mountain cheese, salsiz and dried meat. You then hike down to Falera on a well-marked path. On the way, you will pass several benches where you can let your gaze wander and breathe in the fresh mountain air.
