Details
Description
The Jakobshorn is the central mountain on the east side of Davos. From the panoramic terrace at the mountain station of the cable car, the view falls on the village of Davos and its two side valleys: Dischma and Sertig. The path leaves the cable car station in a south-easterly direction to the Tällifurgga, crosses the Jatzhorn and the Witihüreli before descending and leading along the slope back to the reservoir and finally to the Jatzhütte. If you are already tired, you can skip another 4 km with 300 meters of altitude difference by reaching the cable car station directly from the hut. On the way down to the other reservoir, the path passes under the cable car before it zigzags up and finally brings you back to the Jakobshorn over the ridge.
Geheimtipp
The shorter version of this route (after reaching the Jatzhütte directly back to the Jakobshorn) is 10 kilometres long and has 400 metres of altitude.
Sicherheitshinweis
