Davos Tributary Valley Tour

The tour starts at Davos Sports Centre and follows the Lengmatta with its lovely old Walser settlements to Glaris. After a short detour along the main cantonal highway, take the turn-off to Monstein with its short but relatively steep climb. The picturesque village is perfect for a short rest and a look-around. After the descent, follow the Landwasser as far as Frauenkirch where you take the turn-off into the tranquil Sertig Valley. This 8-kilometre road passes numerous small hamlets before reaching Sertig Sand (1,858 metres a.s.l.). A short break on the terrace of the Restaurant Walserhuus is recommended with its breathtaking views of the Mittaghorn, Plattenfluh and Hoch Ducan. The route continues via Davos Clavadel further into the romantic Dischma Valley to Dürrboden at an altitude of some 2,000 metres a.s.l. and then back to your starting point in Davos Platz.
