E-Bike Alp Fursch

The start is in Unterterzen. Without effort, the first meters of altitude are overcome with the "Bergjet" mountain railway. Once you arrive at Tannenboden, it's time to get on your bike. As the first stage destination, you can take the Prodalp mountain inn. This is perfect for a little break. Strengthened, we continue through the beautiful nature in the direction of Alp Fursch. The rustic alpine hut invites you to linger. Here you can take a break from everyday life. We continue with the descent through the beautiful Schilstal. The path through the forest must be enjoyed with caution. After the short adrenaline rush, we continue leisurely in the direction of Flums. At Flums, the trail leads along the Seez to Walenstadt. There, the lakeside promenade is perfect for a last break. A dip in Lake Walen or a fine ice cream is the ideal way to cool off. Fit and lively again, we walk along the lake back to Unterterzen.

Start at Unterterzen station and use the Seejet cable car to get to the Flumserberg. Once you have arrived at the Tannenbodenalp, the tour begins with the destination of Alp Fursch. Turn right from Tannenbodenalpstrasse and drive to the Prodalp mountain inn. From here, follow the signs for the mountain bike route 478 Alp Fursch Bike on the gravel road to Alp Fursch. Once in the alp, the descent begins. Attention: the descent through the Furschwald into the Schilstal should not be underestimated. Many loose stones make the descent challenging. Now a leisurely route through the spectacular Schilstal awaits you. Keep right just before Bildbrugg and change to the right side of the valley, where another easy single trail awaits. Ride at Flumserberg Portels via the Pravizin power plant on a great intermediate single trail to Flums. Back in the valley, stick to Route 478 Alp Fursch Bike again. From Flums train station, follow the Seen Route 9 in the direction of Walenstadt. At the ARA, take the shortcut to Walenstadt. After a detour along the lakeside promenade in Walenstadt, follow the Lakes Route 9 near Lake Walen back to Unterterzen station.
