E-Bike Alp Tschingla

The route practically starts at the train station of Walenstadt. First, it goes dignified through the historic town. After a leisurely roll-in, the ascent begins. The path leads past mountain pastures and through forests. On the way you can still ring the bell at the bell rank.

After a short breather, the route continues through the countryside, past magnificent views, to the curve "Bim Heiligen". Here an unpaved road leads over Vorderbüls and Hinterbüls to our destination, Alp Tschingla.

The alp is managed and is ideal for a break and to enjoy the magnificent view. Let the spectacular mountain panorama work its magic on you and recharge your batteries before heading back down the same path into the valley.

In the village centre of Walenstadt you will find various shops to buy provisions.

Start at the train station in Walenstadt. From there, follow the SwitzerlandMobility Cycle Route 9 Lakes Route until you are outside the village centre. Then turn left onto Zihlgasse and shortly afterwards turn right onto Dorfhaldenstrasse. Now the climb begins. Follow the road to the next prominent intersection. From there, turn left onto Lüsisstrasse and follow it until you reach the "Bim Heiligen" curve. Turn left and follow the dirt road via Vorderbüls and Hinterbüls to Alp Tschingla. The descent is on the same route.
