Details
Description
The exit to the Heidialp starts in the spa town of Bad Ragaz and leads through the village and across the Rhine to Maienfeld. You drive here exclusively on paved roads with a hard surface or then on simple gravel paths. In Maienfeld, you drive through the winding, romantic alleys to the higher hamlet of Rofels. Not far from Rofels is the heath village, which is visited by thousands of guests every year. From here on, the second major climb to the Heidialp begins. With the e-mountain bike, you still arrive relaxed at the end of the stage.
The return journey leads along a rather steep but safe gravel path to Jenins, also a beautiful village in the Graubünden region. From Jenins it goes back to the Alpine Rhine and follows it down the valley back to Bad Ragaz.
Geheimtipp
With a battery-saving driving style, no charging is necessary. Battery cannot be charged on site.
Ausrüstung
Normal bike equipment. Functional clothing is an advantage, as a longer ascent is followed by an equally long descent.
