Description

Winter on the Way of St. James: On this beautiful hike, you walk high above the valley from one mountain village to the next - from Falera to Ladir - and back the same way. After the first half, you can stop off in Ladir and warm yourself from the inside with delicious Grisons cuisine before setting off on the return journey.

In Ladir, the holiday home Lazy Mountain with its sun terrace and Grisons kitchen invites you to linger.

Sicherheitshinweis

It is only allowed to drive into Falera village and park in the private car park. For vehicles without a driving license, a parking space is available at the village entrance.

Directions

The hike starts at the parking lot at the entrance to the village. You cross the village and then climb over open slopes and past small huts up to the forest. The path through the snow-covered trees is simply magical. The gradients are limited here. When you leave the forest again, you can enjoy great views across to Falera. You soon hike down to Ladir, which exudes a special charm when covered in snow in winter.

Train to Chur, post bus to Laax, post bus from Laax to Falera,

Stop: Falera Parcadi or the public Flims Laax Falera shuttle.

By car Motorway A13 from Zurich, exit 18 direction Flims.

Parking with 200 parking places at the beginning of the village.

Free in summer.

Cost in winter (coins required).
