Description

From Caischavdera on the single trail to Piz Plaun Grond (Bostg) consideration is required, because we are on the Senda Pauli, on which numerous flower-loving hikers are on the way. For bikers it is a beautiful traverse, which requires a lot of technical skill in sections. After a short pushing passage, we reach the top of the Piz Plaun Grond (Bostg) where no shrub or tree spoils the view.

After a few finger exercises, we tackle the descent, it now has to be braked a lot. We pass the alpine huts Mises dil Bostg after which a wooded section follows to Prau sura. Directly on the way we find a fountain with bubbling spring water, a treat for the hands. Maybe also for the feet and the face?  We have to cope with one last steep Stutz to the pretty hamlet of Mompé Tujetsch, afterwards we enjoy it easypeasy to the valley station of the cable car.

Geheimtipp

The ascent with the cable car is free of charge with the guest card (but not for the bike)

Directions

From the Caischavedra mountain station we follow the hiking trail towards Piz Plaun Grond (Bostg). From there it goes down the middle of the three hiking trails to Mises dil Bostg. Finding your way to the left into the forest is a bit difficult here. After the forest we turn right and reach the meadow Prau Sura. After the well follows a forest. A last steep stretch leads to the road in Mompé Tujetsch. Turn left and follow the signs for Disentis.
