Description

Starting from the village of San Bernardino, you head towards Alp Fracch, located near the Confin ski resorts. The route initially winds through an enchanting forest of spruces and mountain pines. You then reach Confin Basso, the winter starting point of numerous ski lifts, near which there is the Confin hut, where in winter you can enjoy traditional and refined dishes. The climb continues along the Ri di Confin Basso, a lush stream of water that flows on the slope. From here, the view opens up to majestic peaks such as the Rodonds, which reach an altitude of 2830 meters. After a pleasant walk through the flowery pastures, you arrive at the top station of the Tre Omen ski lift, located at 2514 meters, the highest point of the San Bernardino ski resorts. Climb the steep slope to reach the Tre Uomini Pass also known as Passo de Omenit, characterized by three stone cairns that stand 350 meters away. From Passo Tre Uomini, at an altitude of 2652 meters, the descent begins to return to the village of San Bernardino. You cross meadows carpeted with flowers such as primroses integrifolia and soldanelle, until you reach the Passit pass with its two beautiful mountain lakes. Here a fabulous panorama opens up: to the north the San Bernardino pass, to the lower floor the village of Bernardino with the splendid Lake Isola and to the south the village of Mesocco. The descent continues by immersing itself again in a stretch of woods, until it reaches the village of San Bernardino.
