GPS Rothorn Summit Loop

The starting and ending point of this circular tour is the Rothorn summit, which can be easily reached by Rothorn cable car or on foot. The trail leads from the Rothorn mountain station first to the Rothorn east summit, from where you have a magnificent view of the surrounding peaks and valleys.

Then the path follows below the ridge in the direction of the Älplihorn, before you reach the Totälpli after crossing the ridge. It's hard to believe that living in this invariably barren landscape at almost 3000 m above sea level. M. Snow hares and chamois.

After passing through the Totälplis, follow the path back to the Rothorn mountain station.
