Description
The circular route into the Schanfigg valley is a very high-quality route offering some scenic highlights. From Arosa, it goes via the reservoir to Litzirüti and onwards to Molinis. Singletrails and forest roads will make the biker's heart beat faster. In Molinis, there is a steep climb via Pagig and Triemal to the Skihaus Hochwang. The climb is on a paved alp road and is thus passable in any weather. Once at the top, a break is well earned. At the Hochwang restaurant, you can enjoy not only the culinary offerings but also the beautiful view over large parts of the Schanfigg valley. After the short rest, the route continues towards Peisteralp. For the first approximately 900 meters, the route is on a concrete road before it leads to Zalüenja on the Schanfigg high trail. From there, you ride a singletrail to just before Peisteralp. From Peisteralp, there is a beautiful and fast descent down to Langwies, from where the last elevation meters through a cozy forest back to Arosa are tackled.
