Hohe Promenade Davos

The starting point of this short tour is the historic Hotel Seehof Davos, which has been welcoming guests from all over the world since 1869. The path leads behind the hotel up to Salzgäbastrasse and on to the Hohe Promenade. This beautiful winter hiking trail offers an impressive view over the roofs of Davos and the surrounding mountains. After a good 40 minutes you reach the overpass of the Schatzalpbahn, a wooden construction which offers a beautiful view of the Davos Ice Stadium, possibly the most beautiful ice hockey stadium in the world, which will shine in new splendour after its renovation in 2020. The route continues to the Guggerbach, from where the path leads down to the promenade in the centre of Davos Platz.
