Description
Do you enjoy skiing in deep snow and practicing in secured terrain?
On the Freeride Learnline you will receive important information about freeriding and can put this into practice on site. The aim: to be safe and have fun in deep snow. The Freeride Learnline is located on the yellow marked downhill route no. 14, which is secured by Davos Klosters Bergbahnen when open. This allows you to focus on practicing and learning on the downhill runs. The marked off-piste "Jakobshorn Teufi" starts at the Güggelbahn mountain station and ends at the Teufi in the Dischma valley. There are 8 posts along the route that can be worked on during the descent. The signs ask essential questions that you should ask when skiing in potential avalanche terrain. Scanning the QR code with your smartphone reveals the answers and information, which can be actively practiced and put into practice in the terrain.
Incidentally, station 3 offers the opportunity to assess your ability and then choose between the off-piste and the groomed slope. Important for everyone: When skiing off-piste, it is essential to carry the appropriate equipment with an avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe and airbag backpack if necessary.
Geheimtipp
After the descent, treat yourself to a refreshing drink on the sun terrace of the Teufi restaurant.
