From the car park on the left side of the slope up the valley. Attention, in spring it can have a big snow slide here! After the first steeper section you reach an area. The ideal path then leads to the end of the area on the left up the slopes and at the top of the summit towards Fuorcla d'Agnel. At the end it gets a bit steeper again until you are on top of the pass (2983m). Now you can already see the hut. Nice descent to N over the Vadret d'Agnel and approximately along the summer path without much loss of altitude to the hut.

But: Only in very safe conditions can you traverse the steep slopes in front of the hut on the left, so that you do not have to mount the skins of the skis again. In case of slight doubt, you should drive towards the hut to the stream to P. 2487, put on the skins, cross the stream and climb to the hut roughly following the summer path.  Variant: A little before the P. 2487 (in front of the stream) turn left to P. 2621 and roughly follow the summer path from SW to the hut.

Important: Access from the direction of julier pass please follow the description, avalanche danger! From the Fuorcla d'Agnel, the safest path is marked with 7 large wooden poles (not the red poles). At the 4th pole turn RIGHT to the stream. Then in the big arc to the hut.
