Details
Description
We begin our hike in Cumpadials very leisurely, first on a forest path through the alder forest along the Rhine, later on an asphalted side road to the village of Cavardiras, which is inhabited all year round. We continue on a forest road, through shady forests and past Maiensässen.
Later, a hiking trail takes us through the two ditches Dargun da Pardomat and Dargun da Falens. Then we are here! The turquoise lake lies idyllically embedded in meadows and forests in front of us. We unpack the wool blanket and prepare ourselves for a longer stay, with swimming trunks and enough provisions. We use binoculars to search the slopes above the lake, because this is deer territory.
On the way back to the valley we hike down to the village of Laus. Time seems to have stood still here and we admire the pretty houses and the well-kept gardens before we hike down to the valley.
The path is diverted in the Dargun da Pardomat area.
Geheimtipp
If you drive to Laus by car, the lake can be reached in an hour of hiking time.
Sicherheitshinweis
Fairtrail: Hikers share the trail with mountain bikers.

From the parking lot on the Rhine in a westerly direction to Pardomat-Dadens, through a floodplain forest to Pardomat Dado. Continue on a paved side road to Cavardiras. From here ascending on a forest road. Observe the diversion branch. A hiking trail leads over the two tobels "Darguns" to the lake.
