Description
Casper Nicca takes you on his hike along the meadows and pastures on the upper Schamserberg, where he meets different people. At selected locations, you can listen to the exciting audio stories via your smartphone.
The Schamserberg, with its near-natural cultural landscape shaped by centuries of cultivation, is a habitat for a variety of animal and plant species. Among the most species-rich habitats in the cultural landscape are the dry meadows and pastures. The hike takes you along the magnificent variety of meadows and pastures on the upper Schamserberg, to the observation bench.
At the start in Mathon is the exhibition "mia natira". It forms the heart of the "Meadows and Pastures on the Schamserberg" project. The construction trailer, which has been converted into an interactive exhibition, is open daily. Here you can find the overview map of the upper Schamserberg, which shows selected localized meadows and pastures and typical plant and animal species.
Any hiking trail closures/restrictions or diversions can be found here.
