Description
From Maloja, the trail first leads to the Orden dam, decorated with the artwork Culur by artist Gottfried Honegger. After the protective dam, the actual trail begins, over hill and dale up to Lägh da Bithaberg. The small mountain lake lies in a small clearing. From here the trail continues on a steeper path to the viewpoint Motta Salecina. Once you reach the highest point, you continue on a panoramic path until above the second lake, Lägh da Cavloc, a popular excursion destination in summer and winter. From here the path descends steeply to the lake. This section of the trail requires some concentration. Once at the lake, the runner chooses the path to the right of the lake and thus automatically passes the small restaurant Cavloccio. At the restaurant there is the possibility to turn left on a trail to return or, as suggested here, to follow the gravel road along the path to the Salecina vacation home. From the vacation home you continue through beautiful meadows back to the starting point in Maloja village.
