Description
Already at the start we are inspired by the prospect of a fine "Kafi" or a "Zvieriplättli" in the rustic Bergbeizli Cungieri. The restaurant dates back to the early days of winter tourism in Sedrun and was lovingly renovated a few years ago.
Off the road, a shady and varied ascent leads through the Uaul Niregl, reaching our destination in a casual back and forth in less than an hour. We bring enough time to enjoy before we hike back down to the valley through the Val Bugnei. Also here we benefit from the shade of partly mighty fir trees and we listen to the silence or the cow bells.
Cungieri can also be reached by cable car: www.disentis.fun.
Stop for the ascent at 11.00 and 13.00 / for the descent at 14.00 and 16.00

Directions
From the train station we follow the hiking trail towards Disentis below the railway line. Above the Bogn Sedrun under the underpass through and then turn right. Along the railway line to the junction to the left according to hiking trail signalling. In between we follow a piece of the road, then we can branch off again on a narrow hiking trail at the wood-carved owls. After the forest, at the cross, follows again a short last piece on a road. Downhill first on the road, then before the cross turn left. After the Maiensässen in Val Bugnei turn right onto the meadow path and a little further down again to the right. So we reach the junction above the railway line again.
