Description
Ardez with its Engadine houses is the prime example of Romanesque living culture. From the train station, follow the yellow signpost towards Sur En until we reach the picturesque village of Sur En Ardez. The path continues over some hairpin bends of the forest road up towards Alp Sursass / Muot la Sella. After two small stream crossings, the quite steep, not clearly visible path (observe markings on stones) follows to the final ascent to Muot la Sella. From here we enjoy the magnificent panoramic view over the Lower Engadine with the villages of Lavin, Guarda, Ardez, Ftan, Scuol and Sent.
