Description
From your starting point at the bus stop in Alp Nagens, you run the first kilometers gently uphill. Perfect to warm up for the steep ascent on a rocky path - at gradients of over 30% you may feel short of breath. On a narrow alpine path you trot along the steep rocky slope. Absolute surefootedness is required here. The view of the Segnesboden and the Tschingelhörner with the Martinsloch is fascinatingly beautiful. Twice a year, in March and October, the sun shines through the rock window and onto the church tower of Elm. With Piz Segnas in view, your path continues around the high valley and after a short climb you cross Furcla Raschaglius. Now it's only downhill into the high valley Bargis and on a wide alpine path you trot comfortably to Bargis. From there you can take the bus back to your starting point. Did you know that the earth is upside down here? You can get lots of information about the World Heritage Site in the Sardona visitor pavilion at the Segneshütte or in the Sardona Akiv app.
