Description

With the Arena Express or the Nagens Shuttle you reach the starting point on the mountain. After a few meters of altitude you reach the Grauberg, at the top the lower Segnesboden is at your feet and you have a clear view of the Tschingelhörner. After a short descent, the lower Segensboden, a Falchmoor of national importance, is half circumnavigated before heading uphill towards the Segnespass. On the way to the upper Segensboden you have a perfect view of the famous Martinsloch. Once the vast and surprisingly flat upper Segensboden has been circumnavigated, the last short climb of the day awaits you. The barren high alpine landscape with the 3000m peaks is unique at the point "Fuorcla Raschaglius" at 2561m, now it's 1000 meters of altitude continuously downhill through the unique high valley Bargis. Look into the mountain flanks, maybe you can observe chamois and ibex. But also marmots are among the inhabitants of the high valley. At La Rusna you can make a short detour to the cathedral. A waterfall that is also often visited as a place of power.
