Description
A hike through the typical mixed forest of the Ofenpass area, with forest pines, mountain pines, spruces and larches. From the Ofenpass road, the path leads past the Ova Spin equalising basin to the Margun Grimmels clearing. Directions
The hike begins at car park 3 and the post bus stop Vallun Chafuol (P3) (1766 m a.s.l.) on the Ofenpass road. After the bus stop, the trail descends towards Spöl, and at the first fork leads to the right through a larch-mountain pine forest with individual Engadine pines. The route descends towards the Ova Spin equalisation basin and follows the water for a few hundred metres.
