Description

Deep under the municipality of Tujetsch, a gigantic structure was built over two decades: the Gotthard Base Tunnel. With a length of 57 kilometres, the heart of the NEAT (New Rail Link through the Alps) is one of the longest tunnel tubes in the world.

On two tours, the NEAT Adventure Trail provides insights into the construction and operation of this century building. Twelve informative stations encourage you to play and try things out.

The adventure trail is suitable for families, groups, school trips and all young-at-heart explorers. Entry is possible at all stations.

In winter, the path is open from 1-4 and A-D.

Geheimtipp

In summer, the terrace at Lag da Claus is open. The Camping Viva restaurant is open in summer and winter. Observe opening hours.

Add about 1.5 hours for the whole round to the pure hiking time.

Part of the trail is suitable for prams or barrier-free in summer.

Part of the trail is also accessible in winter.
