Description

The promising ski tour in high alpine terrain with overwhelming views of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Tectonic Arena Sardona, starts in Nagens. First in northeastern direction to the edge and then following it to the Grauberg mountain station. Continue via Su Crap towards Grischsattel. From 2600 m.a.s.l., first ascending in a westerly direction, then traversing in a southerly direction until 2700 m.a.s.l. over a ridge. The La Siala mountain station is already in sight. Departure via freeride route no. 81 or piste no. 10.

Geheimtipp

Take a look at the UNESCO visitors' pavilion next to the Segneshütte on the descent to learn more about the formation of the Alps and the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Sicherheitshinweis

The piste and rescue service monitors and controls only the marked and open pistes and freeride routes. Outside the railroad operating hours, the slopes and freeride routes are closed and not protected from any hazards such as avalanche blasting or piste machines with winches!

Outside of the slopes or when they are closed, you are as a tour skier in the free ski area and have to take appropriate precautions. This includes the assessment of alpine dangers, reading and applying the avalanche situation report, having avalanche equipment with you and being able to use it. After all, avalanches can sometimes occur even in a closed ski area.

Ausrüstung

The question about the right equipment for ski touring is not easy to answer! It depends on the season and weather conditions as well as the type and duration of the tour. Furthermore, the difficulty and sea level and other factors have to be considered! Basically: as little as possible, as much as necessary!
