Alpine, challenging, lonely and steep. That's how you could describe the tour in abbreviation. If you are looking for exactly such a ski tour, you are in the right place in safe conditions. Oh yes, tricky traverses and easy scrambling passages in the ascent and endless descents are also part of this tour.

Description

The start of the tour is in Sogn Giusep, a small hamlet in the farthest Val Lumnezia. As far as Puzzatsch you can walk in at a leisurely pace and examine the steep side slopes in the north. Now the route leads along the alpine road, which is mostly not visible, above the Ramosa stream to Alp Ramosa. This steep traverse can also be mastered near the stream if there is enough snow. Most people take their first break on the Tegia Sut.

Sometimes flatter, sometimes steeper, it goes further up. Via La Capial, finally very steep to the ski depot under Piz Cavel. Now you climb on foot over the NE Grad to the summit. The view up here is just fantastic. It feels like it stretches over the whole of Graubünden and the Ticino Alps.

The descent leads along the ascent route. In the upper section often over alpine and beautiful slopes.

Geheimtipp

In very safe conditions, it is possible to descend from the summit to the east into a hollow south of La Capiala. Caution: At an altitude of around 200 metres, there are steep slopes between 30 and 40 degrees.

Sicherheitshinweis

Ski and snowshoe tours in unsecured terrain require good knowledge of avalanche danger assessment and tour planning. Furthermore, a complete safety upgrade must always be carried - regardless of the current avalanche danger.

We recommend the WhiteRisk app and website to prepare and plan the tour.

For carefree enjoyment, we recommend our mountain guides and snowshoe hiking guides of the Surselva.
