Directions
From Bergün train station about 7 km through the Val Tuors with a leisurely incline. It is worth extending the sticks to move forward in the long sliding step. After "Punts d'Alp" it finally gets down to business. Here you can abbreviate, where you later get back to the alpine road, and use it for the ascent to the point 1951. Continue through loose forest, more or less along the hut path to the altitude of 2500 meters. Here the Hüttenweg changes direction to the north. If you want to climb directly to the Piz Kesch, you can shorten here by following the course of the stream in a wide arc gradually in a southeasterly direction. At the altitude of 2600 meters, you meet again on the route that leads from the Keschhütte (tracks). Without realizing anything, the Vadret da Porchabella is entered. After the upswing below the Porta d'Es-cha, the direction turns in a wide arc to the west. Now you can look for the ascent route through the rocky crown. At the altitude of 3240 meters, the skis are replaced by the crampons. Initially through a snow slope and later over rocks, where drill hooks for a rope safety are now attached, it goes to the summit. The retreat to the ski depot leads along the same route. This is followed by the descent to the Porta d'Es-cha, where a small counter-ascent of about 20 meters has to be mastered (strap on skis). For the descent on the south side, the crampons can be helpful again. There is also a chain, which can lie under the snow. This is followed by the descent through the Val Müra via the Alp Es-cha Dadour to the point (curve) 1875. Below the forest over terrain terraces to a farm, where the train station is only 100 meters away.
