Description

The start of this beautiful mountain hike is at the Pizol hut at 2,221 m above sea level. On the way to the highest point of the hike, the Lavtinasattel at 2,586 m above sea level, you will pass the Wildsee, which is a popular photo subject and is one of the five lakes on the famous 5-lake hike Pizol. From the Lavtinasattel it is practically only downhill to the Batöni waterfall arena and then to Weisstannen.

Waterfall Arena Batöni: From left to right you have the Piltschinabach Falls, the Sässbach Falls and the Muttenbach Falls in front of you, which have a length of 81, 86 and 45 meters in this order. A little above the confluence of the three streams, the Lavtinabach flows into the Piltschinabach and a little further below the Guetentalbach into the Gufelbach.

Public Transport

By train to Sargans, then by bus to the valley station Wangs Pizol and then by gondola to the Pizolhütte. From the destination Weisstannen you can get by bus to Sargans train station.

Anreise Information

Motorway exit Sargans, then on the main road to Wangs. In the village, the path to the valley station is signposted.
